The jam of fig is obtained through a fully natural process without any additional substances except cinnamon. There is no added sugar and the organic fig has been grown without any use of pesticides.
Roughly some 6-8 kg of figs without skin are used per each kilogram of jam that comes out of this alchemy. Due to the fact that the process, in this case, is a few hours longer than with most other jams the consequence is that the jam becomes concentrated and opens up its deepest tastes and fragrances.
All the jams are hermetically closed and can be preserved for at least one year after purchase but once opened it needs to be stored in a cold and dark place and preferably consumed in the following 6 to 8 weeks.
Currently, this jam is available in pots of 350 grams. The current stock is filled with the remaining production from the 2018 season and till the end of next fig season, there will be no new availability once this stock is consumed.
